Computer Art classes have MANY projects that they're working on finishing up before the end of this week. 

Students are REQUIRED to turn in the following projects. These projects have been ongoing for weeks.

Students MAY turn in the following projects. Depending on time management and individual speed, students may complete one or more of these assignments.

* Digital Celebrity Mash-Up

* Positive/ Negative Logo

* Portrait Drawing and Digital Version (see below)

Art 7/8 just finished up their ceramic selfies! It's hard to photograph them without getting a glare from the shiny glaze, but aren't they stunning?

Art 8 "Senior" Art Show!

We will be hosting an art exhibition for our 8th grade artists! Students will be involved in curating their own panels for the show. We will hold an opening reception Thursday, June 8 from 5:30-7pm. The artwork will remain on display for 8th grader day on Friday June 9th. Please stop by to check out all of our very talented 8th grade artists!

Here are some finished examples of our Art 7/8 self portrait drawings. Students learned how to draw using the grid method and used pencil shading techniques to add value. Students then used magazines to create a mixed media mosaic background.
